Every Bastion server is located within the Energis / Cable & Wireless Network Operations Centre in a secure, resilient environment, and each is supported by a dedicated UPS and generator with six diverse fibre deliveries from three major telcos and 24 hour on site assistance.

Running on each Windows 2000 server is Adobe Cold Fusion, Microsoft ASP, SQL Server, Verity Search Engines, and a range of other products to enable the construction of databases, search engines and bespoke scripts - as well as fully transactional electronic commerce - so as well as the Bastion system we can install and host your other intranet, extranet and Internet sites.

Prices start at just £100 per annum, and this includes minor updates and enhancements too.

Your intranet system will benefit from a full weekly backup and a daily incremental backup.

NB If you use the Bastion hosted service a digital broadband Internet connection via ISDN, leased line, or ADSL is recommended for optimum connection speed, although an analogue dial-up connection will be satisfactory for many users.
